The development and design of the chassis is always a new and exciting challenge since the chassis and all the components visible give the vehicle its individual look.
Form, function, material, rigidity, and elasticity – everything must work and live in perfectly harmony to achieve a great handling and safe vehicle. Whether you choose to race on the track or cruise the boulevard, the chassis forms the foundation of every great vehicle.
That is why we support our customers in every phase of the development with advice and 3D CAD (computer aided design) action. During the concept and design phase, we identify all the technical implementation. Our team is focused and dedicated to creating a vehicle as close to the Artist design as possible. With the surface and body design department we contribute to the creation of the design.
After releasing the model, we will work together with you to develop the first prototype that we will then prepare for serial production.
The development and design of doors, tailgates, sliding- and convertible roof systems are among the most complex jobs in vehicle development. Real masters in the field and customers know quality just by listening to the sound a well-engineered door makes; the quality is immediately apparent and so we place tremendous value on detailed precision.

The exterior components of a vehicle can be compared to a first-class menu. Both involve the ideal preparation, treatment and combination of the best ingredients.
Therefore, our sealing systems, trim assemblies and fascia always fit perfectly. We pay very special attention to the B-Side environment of the design. That's why our designs are simply a tad better than the rest.
The top priority for the interior is to achieve the highest possible quality, integration of the equipment, elements, comfort, security, ergonomics – and ultimately having the driver feel good, safe and comfortable inside the vehicle.
The Interior must be perfectly designed, engineered and executed.

We are specialists in the development and design of roofing systems. In this area we – indisputably – belong to the top designers in Germany. That makes us proud. The perfect interplay of form and function can be seen in the development and design of a sunroof, a folding roof or a complete convertible top system. Noise generation, flow behavior and driving features are factors that we harmonize in an ideal way. Here we prove to be real experts.
Development and design always involves determining the ideal interplay between the widest range of components. The material compound, design and desired functionality must be in perfect harmony with each other. That is why we calculate developments in our own FEM division.
Above all, we work on ANSA, MSC. Marc Mentat and MSC. Marc. And of course, we consult our clients on the systems we will use for a given project.
Dynamic analyses
In real operations, components are affected by various factors that change with time.
The strain and deformation in most cases is not constant and can be subject to significant changes. Dynamic interactions in the system result in forces that can increase the static loads. In these cases, dynamic analyses are a critical supplement to the static tests.
We calculate system responses in the time and frequency range, modal analyses and spectral power densities.
Linear analyses
Linear structural analyses of components and assemblies provide information about weak points and oversizing in the early stages of the development process. This reduces cost-intensive test runs on the real component to a minimum.
Calculations of tension and deformation are used as a basis for optimizing the geometrical structure.
Careful structural analyses improve the operation of components in the design phase and reduce project costs.
We include all simulation results directly in the design process. A time advantage that pays dividends for our customers. Our range of services includes tension calculation, deformation calculation as well as analyses of rigidity and resistance.
Mesh generation
The requirement for the structural calculation is always the meshing and module-like arrangement of a component. The ideal results of a calculation depend to no small extent on the quality of the structural grid.
M.L.S.E uses high-performance tools to generate the grid that will also facilitate a meshing of elements with high precision, even for components in complex geometric structures.
Non-Linear analyses
Not all problems can be solved by linear methods. For example, non-linear material laws apply to elastomers.
High degrees of deformation, contact problems and friction also require the use of non-linear processes.
M.L.S.E uses very modern non-linear methods for the calculation of high degrees of deformation, the influence of friction, contact problems, buckling or non-linear material laws, and these methods provide complex material laws and advanced solutions.
We also design components and complete special vehicles.
